How to grow bad food

How to grow bad food??  If you can tell me how to grow bad food, I would love to hear it because I'm curious.

My husband and I were chatting one day about the garden and he asks, "What foods can we grow that is bad?"  Now, don't get him wrong, it's not like we're trying to grow bad food.  Just curious as to what foods can be grown that are bad for people.  Other than poisonous stuff.  That doesn't count.

We thought about it for a minute and you know what?  There's nothing that's bad that you can grow to eat!  And how amazing is it to have a garden and grow foods that are healthy and usually taste better?  We enjoy our garden so much.

As Spring and Summer are quickly approaching we are looking forward to the salsa garden.  That's our favorite!  In the past I have made a post about our fresh garden salsa.

Peace, Love, and Good Health.

Starting New

I'm always going back and forth and up and down when it comes to trying to eat healthy and get to a healthy weight.  Well, lately it's been really back on my mind a lot.  Time to kick bad habits to the curb and be the best I can be.

One thing that I am focusing on is exercise.  I want so bad to be bad ass.  As it is already, I feel that I'm pretty strong, especially for a fat girl.  There have been a good handful of times when I surprised my trainer and it sure does feel good to do that.  Lately, I've been sending her my workouts that I do when I'm not training with her and she says they are great.  For the first time, she said she was going to do my workout!  That really feels good.  My husband says I should be getting paid for this lol!  Every Sunday I try to have my workouts made out for an entire week and will follow that to the T.

Another thing I've been working on is to make sure that I drink four liters of water every day.  At least for awhile.  For a while there it seemed like no matter how much water I drank I was still dehydrated.  I wasn't keeping great track and when I started tracking three liters I still seemed dehydrated.  So I bumped it up to four.  I feel great and seem to have an easy time drinking it.  And I'm almost positive being dehydrated has something to do with what foods I've been consuming as well.

Unfortunately, it's time to kick beer to the curb!  I love drinking beer, but it's not healthy and it's making me really dehydrated.  Overall, I don't feel my best when I drink beer, so why keep doing it?

I'm focusing more on what foods make me feel good.  I try to ask myself before picking up a food item, is this food nutrient rich?  Is it going to help me reach my goals?  Is it going to help me feel my best?  Will it help me improve?  If it doesn't for these questions, then I don't need to be consuming it.  It's that simple.  Like I said, I want to be the best version of me.

In my last post I had mentioned that food logs are great, but haven't been that great for me in the past.  Well, I'm going to try it again.  Only to make sure that I'm getting in enough calories.  I have finally gotten to a good healthy point to where I want to make sure I'm getting in enough calories.  Because I don't think I have been, which is why I keep failing consistently.

At the end of the day I am going to post what I've eaten every day with an end daily calorie intake.  I'm going to include my workouts as well.  My day isn't over yet, so I'll be back some time tonight to post what I've done.

Peace, Love, and Good Health.
